Purpose of the policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Aqualis collects, uses, protects and retains the personal information of its users, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Canada (PIPEDA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for European visitors.
Data collected
We only collect the data necessary for communication and the management of our services:
First and last name ;
Email address;
Information submitted via contact forms;
Anonymous technical data (IP address, cookies, browser, pages viewed).
Aqualis never collects financial, banking, cTrader access data, or confidential information relating to brokerage accounts.
Purposes of processing
The data collected is used exclusively for:
respond to requests for information or support;
inform users about our updates and strategies;
to ensure the maintenance, security and improvement of the site;
to comply with all applicable legal obligations.
No data is used for advertising purposes without explicit consent.
Legal basis for processing
The treatments are based on:
the explicit consent of the user (contact form, voluntary registration);
Aqualis' legitimate interest in communicating about its activities;
compliance with legal obligations related to the management of requests.
Data retention
The data is kept for the period necessary for the purpose of its processing, then securely deleted.
